Bow ties and Booze: Glass House
For Your Dapper's recent launch party, several of Hawaii's best chefs and mixologist were gracious enough to create appetizers and drinks inspired by our new line of bow ties: Medium Frequency Electron Transmission. Mr. Tim Rita Jr. made us this drink all the way from the Vesper bar at the Cosmopolitain.
What Tim says about this drink:
Simple Syrup Ingredients
1 Cup Water
1 Cup Sugar
5 x 5” Sprigs of Rosemary (remove stems)
5 Thai Chili Peppers cut in half longitudinally
2 Sticks Cinnamon
Bring all ingredients to boil in a pot and wait for 7 minutes. Fine Strain. Put on a bow tie.
ingredients
3 oz Lilikoi Juice
1.5 oz Tequila
0.5 oz Rosemary/Chili Pepper/ Cinnamon Simple Syrup
Method
In a shaker with ice, combine lilikoi juice, tequila and simple syrup. Shake and strain into a rocks glass.
Garnish with a rosemary sprig pushed through a cinnamon stick
This cocktail was made to be easily executed in large batches. So, by keeping the same ratio of 6:2:1, all the ingredients can be mixed straight into a punch bowl with a large ice cube to prevent dilution. For added pizzaz, carbonate the cocktail using a soda siphon.
